Here are some useful links where you can learn to read n write Punjabi.

http://www.sikhs.org/gurmukhi.htm

http://www.sikhs.org/other8.htm

http://www.webindia.com/compufield/harjinder/gurmukhi.html

Last one here is one  link with a nice Gurumukhi alphabet song also. I hope you will enjoy and learn from these sites. I learnt it on line too and I practiced by reading Gurumukhi Hukamnama from Harmandir Sahib every day.

Regards and best wishes.

Here is a link that is helpful too.
Moving the mouse cursor over the Gurmukhi script reveals the translations of many of the words.
So this is great for learning vocabulary as you read the Guru.

This is the entire Guru in Gurmukhi Hindi, English and transliteration  with the above mentioned feature.

The link takes you to Ung One but any page number can be put in the box at the top and hit Enter.

This site is developed by Punjabi University, Patiala.  it is a great supplement to Panjabi learning.

It also have games to help learn the Gurmukhi alphabet and build vocabulary
